Discover a world of Australian art at New South Wales’ longest continuous running art exhibition, now in its 60th year. Each year this exhibition presents an outstanding selection of Australian artists, and is a great opportunity to find an original artwork or sculpture for your home or office.

This coming May, why not call on some friends to plan an art adventure through Hunters Hill as we celebrate 60 years in 2014, with exciting events, new prizes and new venues.

Festival of Art – Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 of May, 2014. A special weekend celebration is being organised to acknowledge the 60 years where the streets will come alive over two days and nights. This festive weekend will see an art market, pop-up galleries, free art lessons in a garden setting, tours and talks, a Salon des Refusés, food, music, wine and more.

The Art Walk will be bigger and better than ever with the Town Hall as the starting point and the lovely Congregational Church. The walk will now include the Vienna Cottage and the Masonic Hall which will house the Salon des Refusés on the 17 and 18 of May. All HHAE venues are on Alexandra St and are a short distance apart. Pop–Up galleries will spring to life in local retailers from the Hunters Hill Village to the Woolwich Pier Hotel.

The Salon des Refusés exhibition will be a limited and selected display of entries NOT selected by the Judges.
